VANITY NIGHTMARE was a project I created during my years at University in Southampton Solent University where I studied (BA) Fashion Graphics. This course, and the general University lifestyle helped me in becoming the person I am today. I use my creativity in my work, my Drag, and in everyday life. I see the world differently to many, and I have for as long as I can remember.
Who am I? I'm Mark Small, A.K.A Vanity Nightmare, and this blog is filled with makeup looks created by myself, and the newer posts photography taken by myself. It's my own visual diary and it's yours for the taking to read, look out, and enjoy.
I've worked alongside fashion photographers providing catwalk images for magazines such as ELLE UK, and FLARE magazine, and stores such as Harrods and Harvey Nichols. I've been to some of the greatest fashion shows on the planet such as shows in Paris at Chanel and Alexander McQueen, and I've also volunteered many times throughout my life for charities, such as supervising children with disabilities and being a friend when one is needed. I currently work for ASOS as a Retoucher, and I enjoy everyday I work there. I'm not your average guy, but who wants to be average?
